A Scandinavian-style luxury hideaway
A luxury cabin is bringing a touch of Scandinavian style to Australia's spectacular volcanic wilderness.
Deep in the hinterland of the Sunshine Coast, 'Scandi at Maleny' is the region's latest boutique accommodation, just 12 minutes drive from the centre of Maleny, a rural town of 3,734 residents, 100km north of Brisbane.
The modular cabin, which contains a vintage log fireplace, a freestanding bathtub and two bedrooms, captures sweeping views of the valleys and rolling mountain landscape from a raised terrace that wraps around the rear.
